RAD Roadsigns
OWN A PIECE OF NEW ZEALAND
RAD ROADSIGNS
RAD Roadsigns began in 2015 as a Year 13 Waiuku College Business Studies YES company. The business was created as part of the ongoing competition in the Lion Foundation Young Enterprise Scheme. With the team's respectable reputations around the school and community, we hoped to be able to grow and extend our business in the future while remaining innovative, original and of course, environmentally friendly. With the business, we intend to provide not only our small community, but also the country with a unique product made of the highest calibre while implementing a solution to the environmental crisis by up-cycling unwanted goods into something authentic! With each new clock, comes a new, unheard story and brand new owner with a piece of New Zealand alongside them!
Now 2016 and after a hugely successful year, the award winning team have disbanded to pursue other interests leaving myself, Sam Yelchich, as the sole director. I am passionate about the business and the values underlying it. I look forward to bringing you new and exciting designs in the future!!

HOW AUTHENTIC ARE THE SIGNS BEING USED?
We assure you, they are very genuine! The majority of the road signs used to make our clocks have at one point or another, been standing on the side of the road located somewhere around New Zealand. One of the most commonly asked questions we receive is how do we come to have the signs? RAD Roadsigns is strongly against any illegal means of getting the signs which why any and all signs we receive are passed down to us from Transfield and Fulton Hogan. What's more, the signs we receive are officially decommissioned and can no longer be used on our roads, meaning that they are destined for the skip. This is where we come in as we gratefully take the signs and upycle them as our own producing the magnificent clocks you see before you today! This is ideal for us as it not only allows our company to be environmentally friendly but also makes the clocks more authentic and unique to each customer.
